Which way to face insulation in walls?

I'm building a 2 leaf wall in a basement studio: 2 layers 5/8 gypsum on 16" OC studs/airspace/16" OC studs alternating/2 layers 5/8 gypsum.

Each of the walls will be filled with fiberglass batts. Should the paper face on the batts face the studio side & room side, or should the paper face the cavity between the 2 stud walls?

In other words, if I were thin enough to fit in the space between the two walls would I be looking at fluffy fiberglass on either side of me or paper?

the paper side faces to the inside of the room, you can shoot a few staples in the lip of the paper to hold it up if you want.:D

also another trick, put baby powder on your arms when working with it, the insulation will not stick to the powder and you can just wash it off when done. :D

The paper is a vapor barrier - if this is one inside (heated) room to another inside (heated) room, use insulation with no paper vapor barrier.
