Rack Rails

Hi,

I'm having a hard time getting hold of 6U rack rails. I currently a student in Germany and believe it or not I can't find them anywhere, not even ebay. They have them on internet shops but sell them by the meter and I have no way to saw them to size.
Only option I can think of is getting aluminum profiles and drilling my own holes with a drill, but I have never done this before.

Any ideas? I never thought rack rails could cause me such problems...
 
I have to believe that the cost of what we call a hacksaw (Frame with replaceable metal cutting blades) can't be that much. Perhaps less than the cost of shipping from somewhere that might have what you need. A little bit of patience and elbow grease and you could make 6 space rails out of 12's or whatever you can find. Plus you would have a hacksaw in your kit. Could come in handy.
