My living room setup

Consists of Reaper DAW, SLX 505 monitors, Shure SRH 840 headphones, Mackie Onyx 820i FW Mixer, Zoom R24 (used in here as a control surface), Dell Precision 1500 Workstation, a pleathora of guitars and a bass, Edirol Mk361C Midi keyboard (a selection of VSTi's including Native Instruments Piano collection, and Addictive Drums with Indie PAK). Quite happy with this setup.

Looks coozy! Now for me, the only thing missing is a second computer monitor. But since your using reaper (and i'm assuming you don't use rewire), that setup is pretty cool.

I think you would find an improvement if you placed the speakers at ear level. You could also spread them a little and have the computer monitor in between.

Thanks Guys. The plan forward is to build a studio desk with ear-level speakers, and a 40 something TV / Monitor as the centerpiece .
