I was merely responding to Mr Clean's statement accompanying his photos above. How does that come across as random, or off topic?
. People are reading in this thread? I'm only looking at the pictures. :D

Never mind...here's something a little more obviously on topic...latest control room pic at the newly renamed Nothing But You Recording Studio (formerly known as Bargain Basement Recording)with the newly installed Eleven Rack, Creation Station and Pro Tool 10...View attachment 78644
That's nice man.

Just updating my studio pic here, it's kinda grown as a hobby over a year or so......but it's a great way to while away the hours.
I have spare room through the door, vocal booth and whatever else I find the need for coming next.

My humble work-in-progress drum studio. Still some work left to do:

- Finish the back corner once the foundation leak is fixed when the ground thaws
- Moulding,
- Floor
- Make some acoustic baffles

I'm done working for now, and I'm just going to enjoy using the room for a while. When I get the motivation, I'll tackle the remaining bits.

Here's a couple of updated pics of my studio since I added the Otari MX-80 last year and finally put it in it's proper spot.
I had to reconfigure the entire corner from how it use to be. Also add a couple of new guitars.

Need to do some more proper photos so I can update my website which still shows the old layout before the MX-80.

So basically, you're already in heaven. Amazing stuff!

That would suck if you had to move somewhere. I cannot imagine unracking, unplugging, and packing that, and then doing it all over again.

I considered that one time about 8 years ago...had a great job offer down in DC...but I didn't care much for living in DC, and yeah, the thought of moving + moving the studio made the decision quick-n-easy. :)

That said...I'm actually planning to put in hardwood flooring in the entire studio space....so I will still have to move stuff, but I won't have to touch the racked gear, since all the racks, including my console desk racks are on wheels. So I can roll them out of the way enough to work on the floor in one area, and then roll them back to work on the rest. It's a PITA way to do it, but I agree...unracking, unplugging and emptying the entire studio would be a an even bigger PITA.
For now the floor is a nice-to-have, and just a plan for the future....I don't really *need* to put in a new hardwood floor.

Home Sweet Studio

Hey hey hey! I've been snooping around here for a while, but this will be....*dun dun dun*....my first post here! So here we are, and here is the studio that I have had the pleasure to work in for a while now! Enjoy! :)

I've got the same "1984" poster hanging in a hard-to-see corner in my tracking room, behind a few items! Freaks people out when they actually spot it. haha. ;)

All these studios are quite beautiful!

here's mine :)

Updated studio......moved up stairs to spare bedroom. Small space, approximately 12' x 16' w/ 8' ceiling. No acoustic treatment,,,yet. Not sure what to put in. Clouds on the ceiling above chair? panels on wall behind monitors and drum set? Any way...next on the to do list is a 2nd video monitor. Oh, and clean the space up a bit. I have to much stuff crammed in to this small space.

It's my home away from home...my garage...it's a total econo-setup with reclaimed interior doors and a home-built rack...sub grade gear and no mixing monitors...a good place to rehearse and lots of bling though

Here is my small space. My wife made the accoustic panels, very proud of her. Will finish the cloud over desk and upper corners this weekend.
