garage studio. Needs treatment. Is this acceptable?

Hi folks! I've opted to buy a home rather than build and I have a detached garage space to record in. Currently, the walls are your standard thickness. The previous owner put pressboard up in lieu of sheetrock and i have attached a proposal of how I've thought I could decrease the amount of noise the neighbors would hear and keep myself from having to demo the interior walls and start over. Is this proposal acceptable? I appreciate your comments!!

when constructing walls in order to soundproof.......or at least reduce sound, you want to follow the theory of mass, air, mass. This means that you should have only one airspace, and two layers of mass. I cant really understand your drawing, but it look like you have more than one air cavity. You would want to go vinyl siding, plus another solid material, then an airspace full of insulation, then two layers of drywall.
