Digi 0011 for PC's

I'm thinking of purchasing the Digi 001 for Windows. However, I heard they are not compatible with HP Pavilion PC's. I've heard wonderful things about the Digi 001 for Mac's, but does anyone know anything about the Digi 001 for HP's? I've got an HP Pavilion 9680C with a Pentium III processor with 650 MHz and 128MB SDRAM memory with an HP CD-Writer.

Am I making the right choice?

Please help.
 
that's the sort of question i'd expect to find in the computer forum elisa but seeing you're here - well yes - your computer should be able to handle digi001 - go to the computer forums and you'll be able to read the posts regarding digi001

All I can say is go to the Digi web site to find out if the HP is on the compatibility list. I know my AMD K7 Athlon wasn't and I had to upgrade/downgrade to the Pentium III. If the chip is pentium III by intel, you shouldn't have a problem. The website is www.digidesign.com Go to the support section and look up compatibility.
