Decided Against a Booth, How to Treat a Large Room?

(I have been reading through all the threads, as I am aware there is plenty of them around. Just letting you know, I have not been lazy.)

Well I have come to the decision to not create a small Vocal Booth, and now I have a Large Spare Bedroom to use for Vocal Recording. Here is a crappy picture of the Bedroom, what I created in paint to give you a idea of what the Bedroom is currently like.

Here is a Key of all the objects in this room:

Green: This is the door, to enter the room.
Blue: A double bed.
Purple: A window, which as double glazing windows.
Red: A wooden closet / walldrobe.

This room is unused, however the owner of this room (grandparents) would like to keep the closet and the double bed in.

My general idea is to build something that will go in the centre space, however in which can be taken down / stored away when ever we like.

Also the AIM / TARGET is to get the best recording possible within this room. The computer and interfaces etc will be in another room. So this room when in use will only have the Microphone in it.

It doesn't need soundproofing as no outside noise comes in, and the house in general is very quite.

So what do you guys suggest? What will be the best thing to do to create a space to record good quality Vocals? Vocals will be Classic Rock, and Hip Hop if that helps also the Microphones used will be either AT4040 or AT4050.

Also my Grand Farther is creating whatever we need, he is very good a DIY as built hundreds of structures / projects before.

I've been looking at stuff like these:

I suggest you bribe Grandpa into letting you remove the bed. You can put loot in the cabinet.

What are the dimensions of the room, and what's on the floor?
