Broadband absorber Question

I'm helping my buddy build a room to record his drums in. we Have all the super chunk bass traps in and are hanging a few broadband absorbers to get the fluter echo out and dampen the room a bit before we test the room. he just sent me a pic of how he is hanging them, its interesting but I'm wondering if it will cause any issues. He has hung them from the ceiling with chains.

Nothing wrong with that. Hooks in the walls would have been easier.

Ya thats what I thought also. Never seen anyone hang stuff from the ceiling for the walls. We have 8" thick pannels we are hanging over the drums for a cloud also. I think he was just trying to get them spaced away from the wall but i dono.
