audio kontrol 1 and speakers?

Hi am looking at buying a Native Instruments audio control 1 and wondered how i would connect my hifi speakers, would i connect as a single jack to stereo phono into my hifi amp even though the audio kontrol has stereo jack outputs. I can't afford montors yet :(

Noob question but just starting out :)
