recently, my dad bought KA6 & Behringer C3. everything was okay except with the XLR input.
the light from the C3 blinked when i plug the xlr cable halfway in. means the mic act worked
but no light was seen as soon as i fully inserted the xlr. ok, so i tried recording my voice in
audacity in order to test it out. there would be 2 soundwaves on normal recording but there
was only soundwave came in below the first one meanwhile nothing (straight line) on the top
soundwave. i can hear my voice but barely cause it was too slow although i set up the maximum
gain & switched on the 48v phantom power.
by other means if i set up the minimum gain, there would be absolutely nothing to hear.
sound only came from the gain, not from the original sounds from the mic. gain = preamp,
sound from mic + preamp = louder sounds.
the only thing i could think rn there might be something wrong with the xlr input/ circuit in the
interface, or else this thing might have worked perfectly for me. this is my first audio interface and i hope that someone can help me through this
