advice on setting up my room please

hi there,
need help on setting up my room as its a odd shape and i want to get the best out off it as i can,its untreated at the moment but has carpet and a bed as its my bedroom,i have my desk where i think its at its best location but any help would be appreciated.

Treatment depends on what you want your room to sound like. A deep absorption would require a lots of treatments but will also kill the livelyness. Most basic treatments would be like treatmens at the corners, the window, the ceiling above the mixing station, recording station. You can always make a few panels to treat the room with , since its your bedroom and not just an isolated room for music.
