Ok, i'm still working the kinks out of my new setup. I'm trying to maximize material as well as being realistic with space in a small room
I've read that a 4in pannel that has 4 in of 703 against a wall with no air gap is only marginally better than a 4 in pannel with 2in of 703 with a 2in air gap.
Is this true?
If so, i can almost finish up my room with existing materials. No ordering more, driving 30 min and picking some more up, spending more money, you get the picture
But i don't want to do this just to save money. If the gains are their by purchacing more, i want to go that route.
