How do I calibrate a passive speaker set up?

Hi guys. I've never calibrated my speakers and I think It might be an idea for me to do so. Now I know with an active speaker set up you can tweak the levels at the back of your left and right speaker but what do you do for a passive speaker set up where the signal is being boosted by an amp? I did a quick google for this and couldn't find anything. I could imagine that you might do some calibration on a mixer but I don't have one. I'll be using a Focusrite Forte interface once I can figure out how to get the freaking drivers working. Do you calibrate from the interface if it has that function?

Doesn't your amp have any trim controls on it?

If not, the short answer to your question is "you can't."

Adjust the amp's two output channels......? :)
I mean, when you trim active monitors, that's pretty much what you are doing, adjusting their individual/internal amps.
