well i have been told that to get good recordings i need to sort out the acoustics in my room.
I have looked at stockists of specialist panels and they seem excessively priced.
Is there a way to diy (websites please!) ?
Also what do i need to do to my room? (general faq?)

The fabulous Naiant Mics, perfect for acoustic instruments!

If you don't have DavidK's CD, you are a loser.

Obviously the most important thing to do is cover all your walls with egg cartons.

And then hang a fire extinguisher close by.

just for the record..................DO NOT COVER YOUR WALLS WITH EGGCARTONS

i shouldnt have to say that, but people these days............you just never know
when the dust all settles and all of us have gone our life ways, the only thing anybody will care about in those recordings is the content. The songs and how they are performed. - SouthSIDE Glen
