    Hi.

Dont know if this is the right forum or if my request is inappropriate, but I was wondering if anybody was up for making some lyrics for my song.
I get a kind of "halleluja" or "u raise me up"ish feeling for the song, but the choice is yours.

The song is just in a early stage, and by no means finished, in terms of instruments and backing vocals/production.

2 versions, 1: I just sing some random words, 2: without my voice.

sorry for any bad english typing as norwegian is my native language

    best regards

    Hey pal

So I got up this morning and put pen to paper. It might not be where you felt this song might go so feel free not to use them if they don't sit right. I enjoyed the process anyhow

To help get the rhythm I have recorded myself (BADLY) singing it here

    https://soundcloud.com/user-41129754/home-record-forum

(Timing went a bit whiffy, as well as my tunings but it helps give an idea)

So here it is (edited since the recording):

I was tired and broken and would have left this world behind me
If I knew for sure that I’d hold you again
Feeling crushed; I’d loved and lost
    How do I move on?
Oh, how I needed you then.

You told me that I would fill my heart with sorrow
You begged me to try and love somebody new
The years rolled by, I moved on with life
    I learnt to love again
But I still need you now.

Love transcends through flesh and bone
I still feel your love burn within my soul
Some body loved is never truly gone
‘cause in our hearts, you live on

Braver than brave; your last words when you were bound
To slip away into the night was to tell me that it’s going to be all right
You said ‘Hey, it’s going to be OK’

Then you held me for the final time
Ya squeezed me and to where your life begun
You said, ‘I love you mum’.

    All the best
    Darren

    Hi.
Iv tryed the lyrics now for a while and im having a hard time to make it fit. Its simply to many words here and there. I have to rush it. Also, the the lyrics wasn't quite what i was looking for. Dont take it the wrong way, it was just what I would have made(on my best day). I was hoping for a more "advanced"? lyrics. Anyway, many thanks for the effort. Much appreciated.

    best regards

    Hi einar

That's no problem at all ...I did really enjoy the process but appreciate that it's not what you were looking for. I wish you all the best though pal and look forward to hearing the finished song when it is ready

    Thank you for the feedback

    Regards
    Darren
