I had to look it up, too, but when I was posting my answer I was tempted to add "Also an anagram of moble, which is a misspelling of mobile." And now I see that Wiktionary also says it's an anagram of moble! Turns out moble is an actual word, an archaic verb meaning to wrap about the head, as a hood-- a variation of muffle.

So now I've learned three new words.
