Nasal vocal buzz in recordings

Hello everyone. I am new here.

I have a bit of a dilemma. I am using an AKG C214 mic and a Mackie Profx12 mixer to record vocals (using FL Studio) and having a problem. When I sing, there is a bit of a buzz in my voice - it seems to be originating in my throat near my nasal passage though I could be wrong. It causes no discomfort and is basically inaudible to the human ear. When I record however, especially with a condenser mic, it is very, very audible and annoying. I don't know how to correct this outside of EQing the life out of the audio and killing off all of the highs because it is very, very prominent. MIC positioning seems to do little to correct this. I attached two attachments of the files at both 12-16 inches from the mic as well as up close. I thought it was the brightness of the mic (which it may be to an extent), but it happens with another condenser as well, though to a slightly lesser degree maybe. With a Sure SM58 it is still a problem, though less so. The recordings are with the AKG.

Thank you all in advance!
