multiple instruments

ya know what? whoever said that playing another instrument would help me on my vocals reeeeealy hit the nail on the head there. I've had an old keyboard lying around for like ever, and just hitting some notes on it, and fooling around has opened quite a few doors up, not only on vocals, but my geetar playing... just wanted to comment on that...

Very true... I play sax, piano and guitars, all classical, jazz and pop/rock whatever, and they compliment very well. 3 different ways of playing, 3 different ways of looking at scales etc.... And since I play with notes instead of positions (alot of guitarplayers do that) I can very easily convert my licks between my instruments. In fact, I don't have to convert them, just play them. Although some scales are easier on some instruments, and I'm not as fast on my sax and guitar as on the piano...
