Using an audio interface with my tascam 788

Could anyone give advice on a list do audio interfaces that would work on my tascam 788. I want to use an XLR cable without the stupid adapter. Also what is the best way to hook it up, what inputs should I use. Thanks so much, not to good at this recording thing.

Yeah any interface with an XLR input will work fine.
