Hiya guys and gals and you all rock.

I have been doing home recordings with my Fostex Fd8,
I think you will all piss yourself laughing cause I already am.

As I was saying Fd8, I have an Audigy 2 with breakout box that has Midi, in, out, Spdif, And optical in, out.

I have sonar 3 Producer Bought by the way.

O.k I have all this cool gear ( So I Think but it was all cheap lol )

How do I Mix and Master my tracks and get that real seperation of instruments in the mix.

Like you can hear all the instrumants clearly but yet it is in the mix

And with all this gear I have is there any geniuses out there that can tell me how to put it all together to form one useful recording system.

I have tried the manual road like the Audigy, Sonar, Fd8 manuals and I am fucking confused and for the life of me cannot understand their blurb and then piecing all three to make one working system is making me suicidle.

Now I know you are all thinking ( what the ) and yes I admit I am a total dumb ass but I just want to record my music and sound half decent :( .

So when you are all finished laughing do you think one of you may be able to help Putting the Fd8, Audigy, and Sonar into a functional working studio setup.

I am getting a yamaha mixer which is 6 channel as well.

Well any help is welcome and any idea's on recording is appreciated.

Regards Raver

I've spent most of my life trying to mix a song in which all the instrumants are heard clearly.

And try to stay away from nooses or deep wells if you are suicidle.
