Techniques For Minimizing Amp & Computer Noise?

This may have already been beaten to death before; if so, please direct me to the appropriate thread.

I'm setting up a studio and have been noticing as never before how much tube amp hum and computer racket I have to deal with in a small room, to say nothing of the electronic noise I don't hear until later.

Are there any special (and cheap) tricks to minimize this or keep it down to the proverbial dull roar? I imagine I'll blimp the computer, but that's about as far as my imagination has taken me with this.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

yea, if you take the case off your computer permanently that will help it stay cooler, and then you can rewire the fan for the power supply to run at less voltage spinning less making it more cool. thats one option, you can build a padded case witha fan in it that would cover the case of the comp, but you would have to work it with some nice HVAC-ish construction. just some idea to toss around.
