Tascam 1641

I'm looking at getting an audio interface, and I'm on a budget (aren't we all lol)...I was checking out the Tascam 1641 and reading up on some reviews. Anyone here ever had any experiences using it? I heard it's pretty good quality for the price! It has all the specs I want...I was just wondering what y'all thought about it!

I purchased one of these just after christmas, Tascam reduced the price of these in december, (I think they are trying to deplete inventory as they will soon be releasing a firewire version)

I am not a pro with it, as we are only using it once a week, mainly for us to record guitar scratch tracks for me to practice drums to. It works well for us in that regard.

I have noticed that there are alot of places that are backordered on the unit.
