Hello friends,
- I have a mixer which we use it live performance.

- The mixer has interface in it and it records 2 channel of the mixer.

- But as you know, recording one by one is taking too much time. I want to buy this splitter:

Behringer MX-882 Ultralink Pro

- It is named: All-purpose 8-channel splitter / mixer / level translator

If it is splitter, does it give chance of recording 4 guitars in same time, each channel is seperated? We want to give different effects and volume to the guitars, that is why we want seperate channels.
 
It is not an interface. It's mainly a line mxer that can be used as six separate DI boxes with volume controls.

You will still need to get an interface with as many inputs as you want to record at one time. But chances are, the interface will have the inputs you need, so this unit is unnecessary.
