to set up my gears

want to request some information to set up my gears for my upcoming recording studio.

I have - M Audio Profire 2626, Steinberg MR 816 CSX and Yamaha 01V.

I want to record (estimate) 15 simultaneous tracks in Pro Tools by using those gears. (8 tracks for Drums, 2 tracks for Vocals, 2 tracks for Guitars, 1 track for Bass and 2 tracks for KB)

And I need - 1 Monitor (pair) out, 3 Headphones out.

Any suggestion for that?

What, exactly, are you asking about? You've got two different Firwire interfaces, but you'll need them both to get 15 mic preamps (you'll have one spare as each has 8). Assume you can run 8 channels of line out from the Steinberg into the Profire line inputs.
 
Yeah....I started typing out an answer last night...but I realized that I didn't quite know what the real question was.

If you know how to hook up your two interfaces....after that, just start setting up your mics and connections for the stuff you are going to record, and there's not much more to it.

What do you really not know how to do that you need help with....?


Oh...and it's not "gears".....sorry, it's just that "set up my gears" sounds weird, like you're building a transmission or something.
