Recording Digital Keyboard w/ AT2020 USB+

Hi all!

Any kind soul could help with guiding me on how I could record Vocals & the Digital Keyboard (Yamaha PSR E343) on my AT2020 without it picking the clicking sound of the keyboard keys?

Probably because the keyboard is really cheap, so the clicking of the keyboard is very obvious when I try to play.

I've tried various settings with the volume and replacing the microphone at various distance but it doesn't seem to be able to completely block it out.

Really appreciate if anyone could help.

There was no vocal, and it sounded like you had the mic hot enough to pick up the mechanical sounds the piano was making, and the notes (in comparison) weren't very loud at all.

So how are you recording this? Will one mic or pair have to pick up both at once? Or can you have one separate for vocal?

If the notes were louder, then you could turn down the mic (and the noises would be quieter.
