I recorded my guitar going through a line splitter. One signal went through my POD and the other went dry through my pre. My original thought was to be able to play with the "dry" signal using an amp sim and see if I liked the sound better than the POD.
After I was done I found that the tone from the POD WITH the tone from Guitar Rig sounded amazing together. The're the exact same signal and a section of the riff seems to get crushed a bit. Is this a phase issue because they are not two separate takes, but one being played together?
