Hi, I'm new here but would really appreciate your help. I am a guitarist who uses looping. I also use effects that produce tones below the natural range of the guitar. I use a crossover to route those low frequencies to a dedicated bass amp. Everything else goes in stereo to two guitar amps. Lately I have been trying to record this rig but am getting an awful distortion in the low end. I am using two paired mictek CV 3s for the guitar amps and a Sure beta 52-a for the bass amp. These go into an apogee quartet then into a mac book pro runnin logic x. The highs sound good but when anything low enough to engage the bass amp enters a nasty distortion presents in the playback. Any advice on how I might remedy this would be greatly appreciated
