Peter Gabriel Vocals

Hello,

Anyone have any ideas on how he gets such a unique vocal sound? It almost sounds slightly flanged and breathy. Mic choice? Just his natural sound?

I may be wrong...but it sounds like sometimes there is some reverse reverb going on. Try reversing your vocal track and add some reverb, then un-reverse it. You will then hear your reverb before the vocals....

Im not sure if that is what is going on with peter gabriels vocals, I havent listened to anything of his recently but just thinking back to it...thats kinda what i think i was hearing.
