Not enough room for the mic stand!

Small studio. Angled roof. We built a small wall of owens-corning 703 around the drum kit. Now I don't have room for the overhead mic stand.

I have 2 small diaphragm mics in an X/Y on a stereo bar. I have just enough room for a mic stand in front of the kick, however when the mics are in the correct location, they're too heavy for the stand. The stand is tipping over AND bending at the waste hinge.
It is a cheap, off-the-shelf mic stand. We're going to replace it.
Any creative solutions out there? Any mic stand suggestions?
I'm considering mounting something to either the wall or ceiling.
    Thoughts?
    Thanks!

^^^This. Leave the whole stand up there permanently. If you can spare them, leave the mics and cables up there permanently also.

Do you care how it looks or do you just need it functional?

A little of both. Functional is the priority, but this is our practice space and studio. We spend a lot of time in there and aesthetics do matter.

Gotcha. lol. I was gonna tell you to saw off the boom section of a cheap mic stand and tack it to the ceiling. Not gonna work if aesthetics matter.
