Velvet Elvis
Ahh humma humma humma
Tell them you will be glad to record it that way, but it will require a "special mic" and an isolation pad for their PA speaker to set on... this of course will cost extra.
When the track turns out sounding horrible, convince them that their PA system is in need of a re-tubing.
Tell them once they have their amp fixed, you'd be happy to rerecord the set up at a "reduced fee"... this time use a splitter on their mic and take the dry signal to tape.
Rant and rave about how wonderful their "amped sound" is now that their PA has been "fixed." Walk to the bank and deposit the money you tripled off of them for them not listening to you in the first place.
