mastering and mixing levels on a mixer

I have a fostex mr8, and I run a mixer into it, so I can do multiple tracks at once. Obviously there is no way to mix levels afterward, (it will be recorded onto one track on the fostex,) but is there a way to sync my mixer with the recorder so i can do mixdown levels on each of the recorded fostex channels using the outboard mixer?

Confused... You want to mix with an outboard mixer instead of the MR8's built-in mixer?

ya, i;d like to use my outbaord behringer eurodesk to mix, because it has assignable effects to a track.
