First off.. Welcome

It's always tough knowing where to start or what to suggest without hearing something.
Once you get five posts you can put up an example here;
Welcome to the MP3 Mixing Clinic.

When you say 'not strong, to me that could mean things besides -or in addition to 'Eq.
We can get into eq' in general. For the most part, it works ('applies) pretty much the same to vocals as it does other things.

A start may be to ask- What are you hearing now that seems to sound out of tone balance?

Without knowing your voice, the song or the mic in question this is a tricky one to answer.
Samples?

If you boost certain frequencies, typically in the mid range, it's usually a good idea to don't boost the same frequencies for other instruments unless they don't happen at the same time. Often it also sounds more musical to cut instead of boosting but there's no rules.
