ok...ive been bombarded with 9999 opinions on mics but i dont really know who's right.
heres what mic's i intend to pick up:
(keep in mind this is in a closed very sound proofed recording room im building and ...its only pop punk music)
vocals= oktava mc319
drums = overheads- 3 shure bg41
snare- audio technica atm29he
toms and bass - i was gonna use the audio technica drum mic pak
gutar = sm57+oktava mc319
bass = sm57+direct box
PLEASE give me some input on the practicality and quality of this setup because im just going on other peoples info and reviews THANX -RawkpunK-

My opinion for a mic cab for what I interprete your budget to be:

1.Buy MC319s from The Sound Room only.
2.Replace the 3 Shure BG4.1s for the overheads with a matched-pair of Oktava MC012s from The Sound Room only.
3.Replace the AT ATm29he with a Shure SM-57 on the snare.
4.Replace the Shure SM-57 with a AKG D112 or AT ATM25 on bass (whether it's bass drum or bass guitar). And for a DI, buy the Tech 21 Bass DI or a active DI such as a Stewart, Klark, BSS, etc.
