Digital Voice Recorder For a Grand Piano

Hey there! new to the forum,
I'm at university studying music currently and am seeking help on buying a portable recorder to record my practice session/performances and possibly lectures.
I am currently looking at the Zoom h2n/h4n, I'd love to get the Tascam DR-44WL but it's slightly out of my price range.

Could you kindly tell me a bit about your experience with the H2N, or possibly suggest some alternatives.

Thanks in Advance :~)

My needs were less specific and I could fudge a bit on the bottom freq response. I now use a $80 Olympus . I think most of the problem will be MIC placement with whatever you select.

I choose this voice section because it has processing to make room recordings intelligent. I don't think I've heard anything bad about the Zoom models and I almost bought one of their cameras for MUSIC a couple months ago. I just didn't want to spend the money
