Connecting multiple instruments ?

Hi all, just a question for those of you that Connect multiple instruments to your near field monitors.

I bought two near field monitors and will need to connect my digital recorder, keyboard, etc to the speakers and would like to know how other people are connecting their various components to their speakers?
I would like to have a box that I could connect all my instruments too, and then connect that box to my monitors. I don't mean a patch bay I mean a unit that could take all my equipment connections on one side and on the other side that has two "outs" that would provide all connected instruments access to the monitors at any time.

You need a mixer{your recorder has one ,right?}..or look into a "line mixer"

Thanks Don, I did think of the back of my recorder, and I guess I could just connect to the back of it, was just curious if there was a better/slicker way to do it.
