Cabinet/Speaker size

I have six different 4x12 cabs in PodFarm and every one of them sounds different from the other. I have come to a pretty good understanding of what each one does. I almost never use any of them, though. I prefer the smaller cabs for most guitar things.

The second coolest thing about amp sims is that I don't actually have to own and store and maintain and lug around and plug in and out all six of those 4x12s AND the 4x15 big boy AND the 8x10 SVT AND...

The third is that I can just sit there while mixing and swap out cabs til it fits. Don't even have to stand up.

Check this cab shootout. It's a Mesa 1x12, 2x12, and 4x12 out of a Boogie V:25, same amp as mine. The 2x12 sounds sweetest to me.

Yep I would totally trade my 4X12 with vintage 30s for one of those suckers in a heartbeat (the 2x12 mesa). The problem is crate (understandably) as a brand name carries some super negative images in people's mind so I doubt I could get more than $500 max for the cabinet I own.
