Zoom r16 h-e-l-p-!!!!

Hi
I have troubles with my zoom r16,when plugged-in the computer shows "USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED"
I have tried re-installing the driver,checked for a newer one,older one, updated Windows (7, 64bit) and have updated the usb port hub drivers as well but still it doesn't work..
can someone please help me with that?!
SERIOUSLY, I'M LOSING IT HERE!!!

Did you switch the r16 to the Audio Interface mode?

of course i have..
does't being recognized as a Card Reader either...
