Hello there,

I was wondering if it is possible to use the mixer noted above as an audio interface for recording with a computer. If that's possible, then what recording software might work best with it? Any input on this is welcome!
Thank you,
Isabelle

It does not look like it has a firewire or usb out or ad converters soooo.
The short answer is no. It will not function as a interface.

In order to be considered an interface it would have to be able to convert analog to digital and output it to the computer via a connection, like usb, firewire or a a pci card with a dedicated cable.

You can use it as a front end depending on your soundcard. You just have to go from the main outs on the mixer to the line in on your soundcard. Most cheap soundcards have an 1/8th inch stereo line in so you'll need to figure out the cables that you need to do the trick. I use Cakewalk Home Studio but their are many software choices out there, just find something that will fit your needs and your budget.
