Where do I begin?

If you are sticking that mic against the fret of that 100W Fender amp and "giving it some" it is possible you are overloading the mic inputs of the Zoom m'tracker. I don't know OTTOMH how the Zoom shows levels? What does it do and what are the readings?

Can you get 20secs into your PC? Make CD and rip it if nothing else. Then post an MP3 attachement. In the 'audio dark' here!

And ok, that Berry mic ain't a 57 but it is a $30 dymo and should be fine.

Haven't tried miking the amp... Just ran the guitar straight into the Zoom. The only thing I did with the mic thus far is "sing" into it. (I am not a singer) I will mike up my amp today and see how it sounds.

Ok so, when you 'Direct Injected the guitar what did the level meters read on the Zoom?
