Wavelab NO peaking, TT-DR Offline PEAKING

    Hey everybody,

I'm having this issue with Wavelab.....
I'm putting in a recording to master it, set up my things, go ahead, make it good (or something like that), putting my L2 on - 0.1, ALL my meters look good, nothing is peaking, exporting it, loading it into TT-DR Offline and it shows PEAK "over". Loading the exported back into Wavelab, with no plugins and indeed it shows it "over"

    WHY?

Why is it "peaking"? and if it is, why doesn't it show before, while mastering it? I have the Wavelab's metering on AND the TT IN Wavelab

    Thanx for the input

PS. Mastering it in Cubase, in the same way and same plugins and exporting it shows me NO PEAK

I can tell you one thing -- -0.1dBFS is awfully scorched and the TT might be showing intersample clips. And no one is going to miss a few more hundredths of a Bel so see if the same thing happens at -0.4 or -0.5dBFS (which is a much safer place to be in any measure).

Sounds like possible intersample peaking. Put the SSL X-ISM meter at the end of your chain while mastering.

I tried -0.2 and it was the same, over peak but I'll give a shot on -0.4

The thing is, WHY is not doing it when I master in Cubase (even with the L2 set on -0.1)?

    Thanx for the input

Is the L2 actually working? or are you bypassing it on export in some way?

    No, it's working alright....
Basically I use (out of curiosity) the same setup on Wavelab and on Cubase, one's peaking the other one not
