Is there software out there that you can compose music with?

Mainly, I'm interested in using my computer to make cheesy electronic beats, and maybe some synthesizer-type sounds - nothing too fancy or anything. If anyone can recommend what kind of software can do this, I'd really appreciate it.

Thanks,

Mark

Hey, for electronic beats and synths try using fruity Loops. Im guessing you might want to record vocals or at least lay down some different tracks, if so you'll need a another type of program also. For that you could try using a program like N track, or cool edit

N Track Demo - http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-1896426-100-2760945.html?tag=st.dl.10001-103-1.lst-7-1.2760945

hope that helps,

Not cheesy enough, you want cheesy, try any of the Ejay programs, they are pretty cheesy. Actually, I have one that isn't so cheesy. Go to Acidplanet.com under the contests section. You can download ACID Xpress for free, and then download all the free loop packages the site has under the contest section and new free loops every few weeks under the 8pack. That isn't so cheesy and it fits in with what it sounds like your looking for. But like I said before, if your going for cheesy, I started with Hip-Hop Ejay.

cool edit stays the best choice for recording the rest if you've got the beat made with fruity loops or ejay or something.

just download the demo and the crack, and you've got the whole version.
