Hi - Brand new to this. I just bought a Tascam DP-24 SD and saw someone talking about "shuffling SD cards" to import/export to a PC. I tried to just save the files onto the card but couldn't import them into CUBASE. Is there a way to do this? I can't find a USB cable long enough to transfer via USB/Audio Depot. Thanks!!!

Did your song files get saved to your SD card as .wav files alright? Can you install your SD card in your PC and find .wav files in one of the folders?

Reading page 67 of, TFM! Tells me that there is a bit of a 'procedure' to go through to get the tracks saved to SD card as .wavs? Very often these M'trackers use an 'in house' file system to write to SD cards and you cannot just dump them over to a PC.

And! How long a USB cable do you need FFS?! Five mtrs is the absolute limit for passives and I would stay with 3mtrs unless you really have to go longer.

Dave.

I actually found a 15’ USB cable and the Audio Depot function seems to be working just fine. Thanks your help!
