Sync MIDI with Audio-Playback

Hello, I need some help. I'm looking for a way to sync a MIDI-melody with my Audio-Playback. The problem is that the Audio-Playback is not 100% on one tempo and changes quite alot in tempo as well.
So my question is: is there a way to maybe sync the MIDI-tempo by tapping the space-bar or a key on my keyboard?
And if so what software should I use?
Cause this is one of the main things I'll do with the programm, I would be more then pleased to hear from someone, what would be the best one to do this with, before I go out and buy something I can't really use for it.

Sonar has a feature called "Audio Snap" that does that very thing, and on occasion I have found it to work very well. On a few rare occasions I wanted to put my foot though my screen. Soooooo .................... what I would suggest, is that you go to their website and download a demo of the program, and see if it works well for you.

It takes a little time to get your brain wrapped about the audio/midi sync thing, but it does work.
