I've been reading this great forum since years and finally decided to sign up, this is my first post so cheers to everyone!
I didn't found a "mixer" section in the forums so I post this here, I hope it's not a problem.
The thing is: I'm building a hybrid setup (analog mixer + daw) in my studio and after thinking a lot about what console to buy, considering budget, bang for buck value etc. the choice went to an A&H model of the GL series.
I know they are old mixers but I can manage to fix some eventual problems.
The 2 models I can afford near where I live are a GL2200 and a GL3300. Both 32 channels.
I donwloaded the manuals from A&H website and tried to compare the two but not having much experience with mixing otb I need an advice from someone who has experience with this consoles.
Right now I have AD/DA converters and external preamps to integrate with the analog console and I'm planning to buy a compressor and a reverb.
