Hi. 65.. played guitar and piano when I was a bit younger

Finally made the plunge into a Nektar LX88+ Midi Keyboard Controller.
.
I thought getting back into having some instruments around would help my Grandchildren get interested. Right now the strings are an older Lyle Acoustic F540, Fender Squire VM70's Stratocaster and a really weird internal amp/speaker Les Paul copy that I rebuilt (controls and 3w amp).
.
The keyboard should be a fun addition. Next will probably be a drum pad for my Grandaughter. She picked 'drums' as her choice.
.
Although I have followed MIDI for years. this really is my first plunge. I'll have some questions in the proper sub-forums. Things seem to have come a long way as far as the DAW and PC integrations. Should be fun
.
So hi to all of you. My nearest neighbors are cows. So I can make a little noise at night.

Man you're frickin old! Heck I won't be 65 for another 2 months!
