I bought the Que QPS-525 drive (sold as Roland CD-RII) to back up recordings on my new Roland VS 880-EX. I believe the drive is also used with Roland 840 and 1680 recorders as well as with the earlier non-EX 880. This is SCSI, not USB, apparently out only since January. I'm interested in sharing knowledge with Ted Choate and any other users. Specific question: is there an aftermarket book out yet on the 880-EX? Roland's manuals are less than ideal.
