Reaper and Focusrite 18i20 problem.

I just bought a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 and Reaper tried to record using Reaper. I set the DAW for 18 inputs, but could only record inputs 1 and 2. The focusrite mixcontrol does recognise the input of inputs 3 and 4 but I could not get them in Reaper. Can anyone show me how to fix it?

If it helps so did Ableton that came free with 18i20. I could only record inputs 1 and 2.

Does the Focusrite appear as an audio device in Reaper preferences?

Does Reaper audio preferences show ASIO?

Yepper. Use the ASIO driver. Then take a look at the options for the inputs and outputs. Reaper is a little different here...you select the first input to use, and the last input to use. Everything in-between will be available for you to select as an input on each track that you record. Same for the outputs. Since the 18i20 has 8 analog inputs, I'd suggest choosing analog in 1 as the 1st input, and analog in 8 as the last output. Unless you're using the digital inputs as well, then select the highest numbered input that is available.
