Hey everyone! Just a quick question!

I was wondering.. when you're trying to unplug your focusrite 2i4 from your computer, is there a certain way you're supposed to do so? or it's safe to just disconnect when you're done using it?

If I might expand a teeensey bit Mr C?

Five or so years ago we used to get all sorts of problems with USB AIs (and Fussywire too!) IRQ errors, the infamous "Ten devices" issue and several more. But all that seems to be behind us, maybe a computer guru can tell us why? Faster PCs? Better AI/USB drivers?

One thing from the Bad Old Days I would retain. Decide on a USB port and stick to it for that AI, leave the other one of the pair unused or if you have to use it, plug in a low demand device like a keyboard. But PCI/PCIe USB cards are cheap enough that you should not run out. I have a PCIe USB3.0 card in one PC and it runs my KA6 booootifully!

Dave.
