query: voice recording software?
Hi,
I would like to record telephone interviews using a telephone
line tap plugged into my sound card. (An example of an interview I have
in mind would be John Horgan, author of "The Undiscovered Mind".
See: http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/0684850753/o/qid=941040050/sr=2-1/002-0441675-2025052
)
The sound files would then be uploaded to a web site, where visitors
would be able to download them for free.
I run Win NT 4.0, service pack 5, on a pc with a pentium II 350 MHz
cpu and 128 MB of RAM.
1. What software would be suitable for this application?
2. What type of file should this be recorded in (and/or converted to)?
Thanks for any help.
