Hi everybody, i'm totally new to using a Zoom R16 and i'm trying to set up the interface controller. Windows 8 doesn't seem to want to recognise the r16 drivers so i'm not getting very far at the moment. Any help would be much appreciated. Cheers Mike.

Looking at the Zoom website HERE - there are no Windows 8 drivers out yet. Using the Windows 7 drivers could work but could also be hit and miss.

This is a reply dated 28th October 2012 from a Zoom person on Zoomforum:

We have not carried out a operation check of the drivers that we are releasing with Windows 8 yet.
Supposing a problem arises, we have to solve and will release the new driver.
    Thank you for your patience.
What have you tried so far? Are you trying to use the drivers off the Zoom website or off the disc? I'd try the website ones if not and follow the Driver Installation Guide.pdf included in the zip.

You might want to read THESE posts in the Zoom forum. Something may help. People have got it working on Windows 8

    Will they never learn!
I tried out W8 about a year ago (din't work, Asus MOBO not good enough but no matter) FCS! Audio peeps have surely had enough time to get drivers sorted?
Has the SNAFU that was Blista not taught Msoft and AI makers anything? I don't think we can blame Msoft this time, W8 was available in plenty of time to fork about with.
    Rant over.
